Yottsu No Kawa Rulebook
A select few pages from the rulebook of Yottsu No Kawa, a game that me and two of my classmates created for our game design capstone class. Together, we researched and created the physical game components, and I designed the rulebook and the cards used in the game.
For this rulebook, I utilized both text and images so that the rules were clear to everybody, no matter how they take in information. Many people learn best through reading words, while others learn visually. I also kept pages and paragraphs concise so that the information was presented clearly and with little distractions. I still wanted there to be some personality, however, so through border, font, and color, I crafted the simple and fun yet elegant identity of the game.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Unofficial Dessert Cookbook
A select few pages from an unofficial dessert cookbook I made as a gift for my sibling who loves Animal Crossing and baking/cooking. I wanted to make sure that the aesthetics of the game shined through in my design for the recipe pages; rounded edges, pastel colors, text bubbles, etc. I used the actual in-game desserts and found recipes based on them. I also used the in-game fonts and characters. All of the characters and images used are licensed under Nintendo.
